Committing Changes in Constellix DNS

All changes made to configurations within the control panel in Constellix must be committed (submitted) before they are live on the Constellix DNS name servers.

This system allows an administrator to make multiple changes at the same time before submitting them. Committing multiple changes at once is called an Atomic Change which allows you to delete records and add new ones to a domain without risking downtime. The Commit Changes function also allows you to review any changes before putting them into production.

1. After you've made all of your changes, at the top of the control panel will be a yellow box that will prompt you to apply your changes. Select the Click Here link.

2. Finally, you can review Commit the changes and save your new configuration.
