Filtering Checks

How to filter checks in Sonar

In the event that many checks are set up, filtering tools may be needed for ease of management. Checks can be filtered by status, region, hostname, etc. For this example, we will use three checks.

ALL: When you click on All (under the 'A' in the picture below) in the quick filters, as you can imagine, it will display all of your checks.

UP: When you click 'UP', you will only see the checks marked 'UP'.

DOWN: When you click 'DOWN', you will only see the checks marked 'DOWN'.

PAUSED: When you click 'PAUSED', you will only see the checks that are paused. The status marker will display the last known status of the check, either 'UP' or 'DOWN'. Note: the 'Play' button is visible when a check is paused and when the check is running you will see the 'Pause' button.

Other Filters: You can also filter by name, region, even the contact groups assigned to the checks.
